About This Place
Easthaven is a mostly sandy beach next to the village bearing the same name. It has rocky sections, and a large number of rockpools which become exposed when the tide is out. The beach is popular for swimming, family days out, and sand-castle building. It is also popular with walkers, with a coastal footpath backing the beach from the village to the town of Arbroath to the north-east. --> There is a large car park behind the beach and public toilets can also be found here. To access the beach, there is a short path along a flat, grassy plain that is popular for picnics. The village of Easthaven has a long history as a fishing village dating back to at least 1214. Further facilities such as shops, places to eat and a railway station can be found in the town of Carnoustie, about a mile to the south-west.
π‘ Our Take
Looking for a dog-friendly beach with no restrictions? We at DogParkUK recommend Easthaven Beach! While we need more details to give a full review, the lack of restrictions means your furry friend can enjoy this beach year-round. It's perfect if you're visiting this anonymous location with a well-behaved, confident pup. The wide-open space is ideal for zoomies! Unknown sand type, but still a great spot for a walk. Remember to pack water and be mindful of potential waves, as we don't know about swim safety here yet. Let us know if you've been!
