Earls Dyke Beach
๐ Bridlington, Yorkshire
About This Place
This rural beach, sometimes referred to as Fraisthorpe Sands, forms part of the long stretch of sand which runs the length of Bridlington Bay on Yorkshireโs East Riding coast.ย The beach is backed by agricultural land and is used for fishing and beachcombing. The Earlโs Dyke River enters the sea here. --> This stretch of the coastline is a great place to come for long, bracing walks, to shake away the cobwebs. The small settlement of Fraisthorpe, behind the beach features a church and a few buildings. There are toilets and a cafe just up the beach at the Fraisthorpe main car park. Proper facilities can be found in the resort town of Bridlington, about 3 miles north of the beach.
๐ก Our Take
Looking for a truly unrestricted doggy paradise? We at DogParkUK think Earls Dyke Beach is worth exploring! Although the exact location in the UK is unconfirmed, we believe any beach that welcomes dogs year-round deserves a shout-out. Let your furry friend run free on the sand (we recommend firm, packed sand for easy zoomies!). Details are sparse, so parking and facilities are unknown. Swim safety is paramount, so assess conditions carefully before letting your dog paddle. We feel confident that this freedom will be ideal for confident, well-socialized dogs who love open spaces. Be prepared and bring your own water.
