About This Place

This remote beach sits at the foot of a wooded valley around 4 miles north of bude. Dominated by the bulking headland of Steeple Point Duckpool beach makes up part of one of the most dramatic sections of the North Cornwall coast. --> The beach is managed by the National Trust. but beyond the carpark there isn’t much in the way of facilities at this unspoilt beach. This extends to the absence of a lifeguard service and Duckpool is in no way suitable for swimming. Instead enjoy exploring the rock pools, woods and stream that runs down to the beach.
