Druidston Haven Beach

About This Place
The secluded beach of Druidston Haven is backed and flanked by dramatic cliffs which, at low tide, overlook a long strip of golden sand. Towards the northern end of the beach are some interesting rock formations. These include a number of naturally formed rock arches and little caves. One thing to note if you choose to explore these is that the rising tides can quickly cut this area off, so make sure not to get stranded as the tide comes in. --> The beach has a pretty coastal path as well as several footpaths that point in different directions towards Nolton Haven and Broad Haven. Horse riding on the beach is popular and it is often used by the neighbouring riding school, so you may find yourself sharing the sand with local stallions and ponies.Druidston Haven beach is great for families with lots to explore including plenty of rock pools. However, with an absence of facilities and no lifeguard service swimming is not recommended due to the strong and changeable currents here.
π‘ Our Take
Looking for a Pembrokeshire beach where your dog can roam free year-round? Druidston Haven, despite its lack of facilities, is a real gem! This sandy stretch offers lovely walks and wave-leaping opportunities for energetic pups. Parking is available, but be mindful of the challenging, steep path down to the beach. Given the lack of lifeguard presence, check swim conditions before letting your dog splash about. We recommend Druidston for confident swimmers, big dogs who love a good run, and experienced owners who monitor their furry friends closely. Pack water - the nearest facilities are a drive away!
