About This Place

This beach forms part of the extensive sand and mud flats that make up Swansea Bay.  County Hall Beach is the area of the bay closest to the mouth of the River Tawe and the West Pier.  The urban beach is backed by a promenade and marina, next to which are residential flats and the Swansea Central Library. --> Cars can be parked at the Civic Centre public car park.  The vibrant city centre, with all its shops, eateries and other amenities is a short walk away.

We at DogParkUK highly recommend Swansea Bay's County Hall Beach in Wales! This sandy stretch is fantastic for dogs, as they're welcome year-round, guaranteeing off-lead fun no matter the season. The wide expanse offers plenty of room for zoomies and fetching. Parking is generally available nearby, though it can get busy during peak times. Basic amenities are a short walk away. Swim safety can vary, so always keep a close eye on your furry friend, especially if the tide is strong. Best for energetic dogs who love to run and swim. Tip: bring plenty of water, as there may not be a nearby source.
