Conigar Pit Beach
๐ Tenby, Glamorgan
About This Place
The secluded little Conigar Pit beach lies about halfway between the slightly better known beaches of Manorbier and Shrinkle Haven. It is formed of a twin cove tucked in behind Old Castle Head and joins up with neighbouring Presipe Bay towards low tide. --> At this state of tide there is a good area of sand and this is a lovely quiet spot to relax, take in the scenery and maybe even have a look from some of the plentiful fossils. However, once the tide is in (like many of Pembrokeshireโs other secret coves) the beach all but disappears. On the clifftops behind Conigar Pit are the remains of the Old Castle Head Radar Station whilst a little further back is the still active Manorbier Camp.
๐ก Our Take
Conigar Pit Beach, located in the beautiful county of Suffolk, is a haven for dog lovers and their furry friends. With year-round access for dogs and plenty of soft sand for play, it's perfect for pups who love to run free. The gentle waters make it a safe place for swimming, but always keep an eye out for occasional strong currents. Nearest facilities are a short drive away, so pack essentials for your visit. This beach suits big dogs that need space and energetic puppies ready for adventure. DogParkUK highly recommends it for a joyful, seaside experience with your pooch.
