Churston Cove is a scenic, shingle and rock beach, just north of the town of Brixham on the English Riviera. Access is via a long, steep and narrow path, which is uneven in places and can make disabled access particularly difficult. The path passes through woodland and one of the highlights of the beach is the spectacular wooded scenery and cliffs that surround the small cove.  --> The entrance to Brixham Harbour is also visible from the beach, complementing the beautiful natural scenery, without affecting the natural charm of the cove. Churston Cove is a popular place for small yachts to stop for the occupants to enjoy a picnic and maybe a dip in the crystal clear waters. The beach itself is made up of shingle and rocks. It is a lovely place for children to paddle in the clean, shallow water. Swimming is also relatively safe, although there is no lifeguard service, so children will need to be closely supervised.  There is however very little in way of facilities to be found here.The nearest parking is along Fishcombe Road, about half a mile away on the outskirts of Brixham. Travelling into the town centre, visitors will find a range of facilities such as shops, pubs and restaurants, many of which specialise in seafood, as well as a pretty and vibrant harbour town. The town of Paignton is also just a few miles away along the South West Coast Path.

With ample parking nearby, it's easy to bring your furry friend for a day of exploration. Though there are no immediate facilities, Brixham's amenities are just a short walk away. Ideal for larger breeds or energetic dogs needing space, we advise keeping an eye on the tide, as it can quickly rise. Enjoy your coastal romp!
