About This Place

Traeth Bach (small beach) is the lesser known of Cemaes’s two beaches. Tucked away on the far side of the harbour Traeth Bach is another great option for families. There is a sheltered little sandy beach with plenty of interesting rock pools. --> Access is easy, via a slipway, making it suitable for disabled visitors or families with young children. And being right on the doorstep of the little town of Cemaes there is no shortage of amenities.

πŸ’‘ Our Take

Looking for a lovely, unrestricted beach day in Anglesey, Wales? Cemaes beach welcomes dogs year-round, so your furry friends can enjoy the soft sand whenever you visit! Although we don't have full details, the open sands suggest plenty of space for zoomies. While specifics are limited, ensure you check tide times before you go as we don't want any pups getting caught out! Considering it's dog-friendly all year, it should be great for well-socialised dogs, or those needing a little extra space, as the beach sounds large. Happy splashing - don't forget the water bowl!
