About This Place

This wide open expanse of beach is located just north of Crosby, one of Mersyside’s most affluent areas. Blundellsands beach is backed partly by a promenade and then dunes to the north. --> What Blundellsands is probably best known for though are the life-size cast iron sculptures of several men set just beyond the tide line. These are a permanent art installation by Antony Gormley entitled Another Place. There is no denying the power of these figures as they become partly submerged with the tide, particularly with the setting sun behind.

πŸ’‘ Our Take

DogParkUK highly recommends Blundellsands Beach in Merseyside for dog-lovers looking for a sandy retreat. Dogs are welcome year-round, ensuring endless sandy adventures for both anxious and energetic pups alike. This expansive beach offers fine golden sand perfect for playful digging and racing around. While there's no on-site parking, a nearby lot keeps access easy. Facilities are a short stroll away in town, so plan ahead if you're staying long. Always keep an eye on your furry friend around the water, as swimming conditions can fluctuate. Best suited for curious puppies and larger breeds with energy to burn!
