Clevedon Beach

๐Ÿ“ Bristol, Bristol

About This Place

A long, pebble beach that runs south-west from Clevedon, an old Victorian seaside resort at the mouth of the River Severn.ย The beach is backed by a promenade that leads to Clevedon Pier, a Grade I-listed Victorian structure that remains one of the townโ€™s main attractions. --> Amenities all along the seafront, promenade and pier, which is popular with fishermen.ย  Just along from the main beach is Clevedon Marine Lake - a large, sea-fed tidal pool that offers safe, enclosed saltwater swimming with regular use by open water swimmers. Itโ€™s a popular alternative to swimming in the estuary, which has strong currents and fast-changing tides.
