Barmston Beach
π Bridlington, Yorkshire
About This Place
The long sandy beach at Barmston sits below the Barmston Beach Holiday Park. Given its fairly remote location the beach is mostly frequented by families staying at the park. --> Stretching over 2km to the town of Bridlington in the north, there is no shortage of space at Barmston even if it ever did get busy. Barmston beach was previously awarded a Blue Flag, however, due to coastal erosion access down to the beach has become more difficult and the award was withdrawn in 2010. The beach does still have a Quality Coast award reflecting its cleanliness and facilities.
π‘ Our Take
Discover the hidden gem of Barmston Beach nestled on the East Yorkshire coast, where your furry friends can frolic freely year-round on golden sands. This expansive stretch of beach boasts ample space for energetic pups and lovable big dogs, offering a perfect blend of sand and scenic views. Parking is convenient, but ensure you carry water and doggy essentials since facilities are limited nearby. Swimming is generally safe, but always stay mindful of tides. Ideal for both adventurous and anxious dogs, Barmston Beach is a delightful retreat for those seeking a peaceful, off-leash adventure. Enjoy the refreshing sea breeze!
