About This Place

Set on the foreshore of Tresco Abbey with its sub-tropical gardens is Appletree Bay. This is yet another gem of the Scilly Isles with everything you would expect from these pristine beaches. --> The crescent of near white sand faces into the clear sheltered shallows of Tresco Flats, looking across to the neighbouring island of Bryher. As with all the Scilly Isles’ beaches, Appletree never gets crowded. In fact much of the time the beach is virtually empty, even during the summer.

πŸ’‘ Our Take

Looking for a simple dog-friendly beach in the UK? DogParkUK recommends Appletree Bay! Situated somewhere in the beautiful British Isles, it's perfect because dogs are welcome ALL YEAR ROUND! The sand is ideal for digging, though we don't have more specific details. Remember to bring your own water as facilities may be limited, though parking should be close by. While we can't say for sure, please keep a watchful eye if your dog swims. Appletree Bay seems excellent for confident dogs that love open space. Don't forget poo bags and enjoy the freedom!
