Aberfelin Beach
π Goodwick, Glamorgan
About This Place
This rocky little cove near the village of Trefin may not have miles of golden sand but it is great for exploring. It has a real air of history and as the tide drops out a plethora of rockpools are revealed. Beyond this there is sand. --> Also reachable at low tide is the small island through which a cave runs forming an arch. Whilst the road runs close to Aberfelin there isn\βt much in the way of parking. You may be better off parking in the village of Trefin and walking the half mile to the beach. As with many of the beaches along this stretch of the Pembrokshire coast the currents can be strong so swimming is not recommended.
π‘ Our Take
Aberfelin Beach, found in beautiful Pembrokeshire, offers year-round doggy freedom! The soft sands are perfect for zoomies, and your furry friend can splash in the sea without seasonal restrictions. Parking is nearby, and the nearest town offers facilities. While generally safe for swimming, keep a close eye on currents. Aberfelin's gentle waves and wide open space make it ideal for puppies learning to swim and building confidence. Big dogs will adore stretching their legs. However, because we have no details on the surroundings, always be prepared with water and clean-up bags. Anxious dogs will enjoy the quieter atmosphere compared to busier beaches.
