About This Place

Just to the east of the inlet at Solva and in the crook of the Dinas Fawr headland is Aber-West a secluded little sand and shingle beach. The beach here is set in a relatively sheltered cove with steep cliffs to either side and a gently sloping grassy hill to the rear. --> Only really accessible from the Pembrokeshire coast path and a fair walk from Solva, or Newgale to the east, it is often deserted.

πŸ’‘ Our Take

Looking for a fantastic dog-friendly beach in Wales? Aber-West Beach welcomes dogs year-round, making it a perfect spot for anytime fun! Though information is limited, the freedom of unlimited dog access to the sand is a major plus. Parking info is unavailable, so plan ahead before you visit. Since the beach description is unavailable, consider safety when swimming. It's important to always keep a close eye on the tide. This beach seems ideal for energetic dogs who love to run free. Remember to bring your dog's water and poo bags! Have a wonderful time.
